This is the second album by the outstanding guitarist on which he masterfully incorporates his live and studio experience. The result is a continuation of his musical vision which is not just to mix the most different styles in music but to combine them in a unique way. On this album mongolian chants meet opera vocals. Modern rhythms fuse with complex but melodic guitar sounds to create a soundspace of unusual fascination indicating marvellous creativity. On seeing for the first time the mongolian group "Egschiglen" performing live the artist was stunned and invited the musicians to the recording studio to make a guest appearance on two songs. In one of them (bridge to the heart) Marc also introduces his talented sister Josefin Hirte who is a classical trained soprano. These songs prove that music from the east and music from the west can be skillfully molded together without either of the two losing their identity. Of course "SECOND NATURE" also includes first class instrumental music like on his first album "COSMIC VOICES" released on Boulevard records."SECOND NATURE" contains cunning arrangements with varied drums and percussion supporting his very own style displaying his constant efforts to enlarge the sound spectrum of the guitar. When the artist was asked by the world famous guitar manufacturer Gibson to perform on their annual Frankfurt Music Fair presentation party, he just could not deny as this offered him the opportunity to gig during this session with artists like Steve howe, Chet atkins, Larry coryell, Gregg Bissonette and Slash of Guns n Roses.
